We have direct buy accounts with all major manufacturers and distributors in the U.K. – Hobart, Falcon, Manitowoc, Charvet, Valentine, Williams, Foster, Rational, Winterhalter etc – and therefore we can offer best prices to our Clients. Our annual turnover exceeds £3 Million, generated mainly through direct end users. We appreciate the importance of developing mutual understanding with Clients, addressing changing needs and introducing improvements, whilst maintaining a cost effective package.
We are also able to offer refurbished equipment if budgets are limited, and we can provide a full deep clean of Catering Equipment, combined with equipment maintenance and servicing.
Meet Our Team
Tony started his career outside of the Catering Industry in various commercial environments, before joining Prima Contracts 30 years ago. He gained rapid promotion to Senior Contracts Manager, staying with Prima, until forming JAP in 1992. He has overseen the steady expansion of JAP, which has experienced solid and profitable growth every year. Tony still personally manages the design and installation of many projects and maintains a close personal contact with JAP’s many clients.
Laurence worked in various positions with Hobart for 10 years, including Accounts, Service Management and Sales. He joined Sutcliffe Design Services in 1989, as Sales Development Manager and then as National Contracts Manager, before moving to Gamble Food Service Equipment as Senior Contracts Manager. Now with JAP as Contracts Manager since 1995, he is responsible for Project Control of Catering Installations, liaising with all clients to ensure timely and efficient meeting of their needs.
